Valentino R. Uriegas

Valentino is a biotech quality system auditor specializing in the medical device and clinical pharmaceutical space with a background as a state and federal inspector. He holds a BS in Nutrition from the University of Texas at Austin and began his work experience as a pharmacy technician during and after college. He worked for the Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) as a Drug and Medical Device Investigator, conducting inspections of manufacturers, distributors, salvagers, tattoo, tanning, and related fraud investigations. Further, Valentino was trained by the US FDA to perform contracted medical device through the TDSHS contract with the US FDA. Valentino continued this pathway as TDSHS inspection team leader, investigator trainer, and compliance officer in support of warning letters and compliance actions. After this work, Valentino has worked in the medical device manufacturer and CRO industries as a corporate global principal auditor and audit program manager.
