Ryan Gibbons

Senior Manager

Ryan is a seasoned business professional with 15+ years leading enterprise technology, finance, and operating model transformation for Fortune 500 and mid-market organizations. An industrial engineer by training and a systems thinker by nature, he brings a rare mix of perspectives to every engagement, connecting how business functions interact, spotting where friction builds, and catching where signals don’t match reality. He’s advised as a consultant at a large global consultancy, executed as an operator, and founded a fractional executive advisory practice.

Before joining CREO, Ryan spent a decade at Accenture working alongside CIOs and CFOs at Fortune 500 healthcare, chemicals, insurance, and industrial companies with a focus on IT cost reduction, zero-based budgeting, technology operating model design, and technology investment strategy. That foundation carried into an operator role as Senior Director of IT Finance & Transformation at Pediatrix Medical Group, where he built a zero-based cost structure across the Office of the CIO to drive SG&A reduction and EBITDA margin improvement. Most recently, Ryan co-founded Waypoint Business Advisory, a lean, fractional “SWAT” team embedded within the office of the CFO at upper mid-market companies, to diagnose and remediate EBITDA leakage problems across Procurement, Finance, AP, and IT.

Ryan joined the CREO team in June 2026, bringing his experience shaping strategy as a consultant, driving it home as an operator, and building lean systems as a founder to help clients close the gap between strategic business transformation and the operational work of making change “stick.” Ryan is a problem-solver by nature and leads with “stewardship” in mind, striving to leave the clients and teams he works with in better shape than when he started.

Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Outside of work, he’s a proud husband with a passion for cycling, running, following his favorite Wisconsin sports teams, trying out new restaurants, and adding to his indoor plant collection.
