Joe Brennan is a seasoned executive with over two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and medical device industries. His career is marked by a proven track record of visionary leadership in business start-ups, turnarounds, and operational and regulatory compliance management. Joseph’s expertise spans managing multi-site, national, and international operations for some of the world’s largest Life Sciences companies in the world, as well as a startup CRO.
Joe’s leadership roles at NSF International, Philips Healthcare and Johnson & Johnson have seen him develop and implement long-range quality, regulatory, and compliance policies, manage product recall activities, manage large-scale consent decree remediations, and drive strategic improvement processes. His experience also includes significant contributions to clinical operations and quality management at Clario and GlaxoSmithKline, where he was instrumental in integrating manufacturing automation systems and reducing investigation needs through method validation.
Earlier in his career, Joe held key positions at Merck & Company, including Regional Manufacturing Manager for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and Clinical Trial Project Manager. His international assignments have equipped him with a global perspective and a deep understanding of regulatory environments across multiple regions.
Joe holds a Master of Pharmaceutical Business and Health Policy from Saint Joseph’s University and a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
