Jancarlo has over 13 years of IT leadership experience in the CRO, CDMO and Biotech industries. Jancarlo is proficient with technology management and systems implementation in regulated environments (GxP, and GLP). He has experience leading life science organizations design and orchestrate digital transformation strategies and M&A, while addressing technical debt.
Previously, Jancarlo worked at Cambrex, a global CDMO, where he led the team supporting the chromatography software. Also, he led the CSV team supporting the systems and equipment used by the Early Stage Development Business Unit. Additionally, he led the robotic process automation (RPA) efforts to leverage automation and AI.
Among some of Jancarlo’s past achievements include building IT programs from the ground up, establishing Cybersecurity programs, technology consolidation and rationalization, championing agile frameworks (i.e SAFe), and creating and executing technology roadmaps. Jancarlo earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Information Technology and Executive MBA from North Carolina State University.
