Dennis is currently serving as the Senior Manager for Cybersecurity and Technical Operations at CREO, leveraging over two decades of comprehensive experience in the fields of cybersecurity and infrastructure management. His proficiency extends across various domains, encompassing defensive cybersecurity, compliance, risk management, security operations, technical architecture, custom development, project management, server operations, application administration, quality assurance, network operations, database administration, storage management, Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and cloud management. Throughout his career, Dennis has consistently applied data analysis techniques to inform critical tactical and strategic decision-making.
Dennis specializes in defensive cybersecurity tactics, incident response, cloud administration/security, third-party risk management, and IT risk management. He possesses direct expertise in adhering to industry standards and regulations, including ISO, NIST, SOC 2, CIS, and HIPAA.
Before his role at CREO, Dennis held the position of Director of Security Engineering & Infrastructure at Fortalice Solutions, where he provided defensive “Blue Team” consultative services such as fractional Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) support, incident response, forensic analysis, and security-based configuration reviews for technologies like SIEM, MDR, EDR, collaboration suites, and cloud hosting. He also development of cybersecurity roadmaps.
Dennis previously held leadership positions in cybersecurity and infrastructure management at RTI International and played pivotal roles in two successful start-up firms, Digitalsmiths and Motricity. Dennis also held management positions at Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC and Accenture.

Dennis earned his undergraduate degree in Biological Engineering from North Carolina State University and a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from UNC Chapel Hill. He holds certifications in CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) and ITIL Foundations.
