She specializes in helping organizations align technology strategy with business objectives to drive operational efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
At CREO, Carla partners with life sciences, healthcare, and growth-stage organizations to design and deliver enterprise system solutions that enable sustainable growth. She brings deep expertise across ERP, CRM, and HCM platforms—including Deltek Costpoint, Salesforce, and Workday—and core business processes such as Procure-to-Pay, Sales-to-Cash, and General Ledger. Known for her ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable strategies, Carla works closely with executive stakeholders to prioritize investments, shape technology roadmaps, and deliver measurable results.
Prior to joining CREO, Carla served in senior leadership roles where she led global transformation programs and enterprise system modernization efforts. She most recently guided cross-functional teams within the North Carolina Community College System, leading cloud migration initiatives, disaster recovery strategy, and enterprise data integrity response efforts across a statewide environment. Previously, at FHI 360, Carla led a $9M global digital transformation portfolio spanning more than 55 countries, securing $2M in funding for regulated clinical systems and implementing governance frameworks to strengthen security, compliance, and operational performance.
Carla is a CISSP-certified leader with a strong foundation in technology governance and risk management. She is recognized for building trusted relationships with senior leaders, mentoring teams, and translating vision into execution in mission-driven and highly regulated organizations.
A longtime Durham resident, Carla is actively engaged in her community and serves on the Board of Meals on Wheels Durham, where she contributes her expertise in analytics, process optimization, and strategic planning to support programs that address food insecurity and social isolation.
