I was delighted to be invited to speak at today’s SIM-RTP Tech Connect conference about data-driven culture. This year’s event was conducted online due to the ongoing pandemic, but it was great to see so many people engaged in exploring trends in technology leadership.
My talk centered around seven things that organizations can do to improve employee engagement and adoption around data and analytical insights. As companies invest in analytics initiatives and big data, so many leaders struggle to translate new opportunities into actual value such as increased revenue, profitability, and quality. While the math of data science proves easy for some, helping employees embrace a data-driven culture and organizational processes is more challenging. So hopefully I’ve offered a few ideas that will help.
Here’s the recording of the session if you’d like to learn more about some of the techniques.
