Several CREO team members interviewed three Dress for Success participants to help empower the local job-seeking women with the interview skills needed to succeed.
Dress for Success: Dress for Success is an international support network geared towards serving employed and unemployed women through networking, professional attire, and development tools.

SUPPORT FOR UKRAINE
The CREO team collected financial donations to Airbnb helping to provide housing to Ukrainian refugees.
Airbnb announced that they were offering free, short-term housing to up to 100,000 refugees fleeing Ukraine. The stays were funded by Airbnb, donors to the Airbnb Refugee Fund, and the generosity of hosts.
COMPUTERS FOR KIDS
The CREO team gathered for two afternoons helping to refurbish used computers for local children and families in need.
Kramden Institute: Kramden has been providing refurbished technology to students in need since 2003. Providing 42K computers and serving 83 NC counties, the organization also has educational programs. For more info on how to support Kramden visit them online.

CAPITAL CITY CLAUSES
CREO is proud to be a corporate sponsor of Capital City Clauses. This event raises funds and collects donations of new toys through virtual toy drives, and raffles to help the children in need in Wake County.
Capital City Clauses is holding their 28th annual Jingle Ball. One of the area’s largest events that raises money to purchase toys for local children in Wake County, as well as provides grants to organizations that share a similar mission. For more information visit the link provided.

ONE WARM COAT
The CREO team held a coat drive collecting both coats and monetary donations to support the work of One Warm Coat. The initiative helped raise awareness of the vital need for warm coats.
One Warm Coat: The only national organization supporting coat drives. One Warm Coat provides free coats to children and adults in need. For every $1 donated you warm one person. For more information about the program and volunteering visit the link.
TWEENS AND TECHNOLOGY
The CREO team donated ten new Chromebooks and was matched by the CEO and President of CREO, bringing the total donation of new Chromebooks to 20. The donation allowed participants of the Tweens and Technology Program to use the devices for learning while in the program and at home.

URBAN MINISTRIES OF DURHAM
Nineteen CREO team members contributed a combined $3,200, which was matched by CREO, and matched again by a UMD grant bringing the total impact to $12,800. This total donation was able to contribute to helping put an end to homelessness for 2-3 Durham residents.
Urban Ministries of Durham: UMD works to end homelessness and fight poverty through the offering of food, and shelter. UMD offers a robust workforce development program, serves 3 free meals a day to the hungry and shelter guests, and distributes groceries through the food pantry. CARING HOUSE
Nine CREO team members and family prepared and served 35 homemade meals to patients in need during an evening at the Caring House.

INTERFAITH FOOD SHUTTLE
Several CREO team members volunteered at the Interfaith Food Bank for several hours packaging eggs for meal service.
Interfaith Food Shuttle: Committed to feeding children, families, and seniors, the Interfaith Food Shuttle distributes over 8M pounds of food a year. They are dedicated to “teach, feed, and grow”. For more information on how you can get involved visit the link.

OUT OF THE DARKNESS
Hosted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), the CREO team participated in the awareness walk raising $2,310, and placing second place out of 70 teams.
Out of the Darkness: The Walks, beginning in 2004 are held in hundreds of cities across the US. Out of the Darkness Walks are a way to raise money, awareness, and show support for suicide prevention. To learn more about walking in support of suicide prevention follow the link.
